Board of Assessors Meeting Minutes

Minutes from the November meeting were read and accepted.
3 Real Estate abatement applications were considered. 2 were granted and 1 was denied.
One Personal Property abatement was considered and granted. All appropriate forms were signed.
Reviewed 2 Motor Vehicle abatements. One was granted, the other denied. All appropriate forms were signed.
Questions on Chapter 61B have been clarified to the board by the DOR lawyer of the day. The Board feels it may be appropriate to offer 61B as an option to a particular land owner in town. Jessica will draw up a letter for the Board to approve next month.
The Board is still waiting for answers asked about Clause 17 in light of Senior Exemptions.
